I had a prego moment the other day. I was trying to leave to get to work on time since I had a meeting first thing. Eli was not cooperating, Aaron was in the shower so could not really help me. I had to pretty much wrestle his coat on him, and carry my over 30 lb toddler to the car and try to get him in his car seat with him arching his back and yelling "Nooooo!" and "Hellllpppp!", to top it off it was pouring outside. Everything is ten times harder with a huge belly! Once I finally was on my way, I started crying out of frustration, and pure fright knowing that I'll be doing this with two kids! Holy crap! It was hard to stay angry because Eli was saying some pretty funny things on the way to school/work. I know it'll be fine, but I was also a little hormonal.
My 29 week appointment was yesterday. I'm actually measuring where I should be, but I gained 9 lbs in TWO weeks! I was floored. I blame the weight gain on my boots. It's too much of a struggle to take them off. Baby is doing fine, FHR was 160 bpm with variations. We talked with the doctor about C-sections vs. a VBAC. After our appointment Aaron and I went to lunch and talked through our options. I have a gut feeling to repeat a C-section. I'm really leaning that way. I feel like there was another reason Eli did not fit besides his size. The doctor said at 37 weeks he'll get another ultrasound and talk through our options again.
Some exciting news, Jake and Kate had a baby boy this afternoon! Congrats! No name yet. I hope to see them this weekend.
Here is the latest prego pic-- I look all baby!

Cherie: Glad to see you are healthy and happy. It has been too long since we have spoken. I hoped to see your family in Wichita over Christmas but with both Kara and my family in Wichita it went quickly. It sounds like you had a nice trip in Omaha!
Cheers and go hawks, Ryan
I sound like my mom, but you are carrying that baby higher than Eli! Hmmm...girl? :)

By the way, I meant to post this earlier, but you look really awesome!

You do look GREAT!Your story completely cracked me up. It's one of those "Calgon, take me away" moments that happens, but especially during pregnancy. I'm glad you are doing well. Tell Katie and Jake congratulations. Was it a girl?
Come ON! NINE pounds in TWO weeks? Holy crap, Cherie! I love it!!! :) And that picture. Even better. But you can make it look more believable, can't you? It's so obvious that's just a kid's ball in your shirt. ;-) I mean who pops out like that?! hee-hee. Again, I love it.
Keep up the good work.
Oh, PS. Oh, those days things don't go right. You know I go through them too (per my blog). But like you said, it's at the peak of the worst time when your kid(s) will do or say something to then crack you up. I probably don't make as many posts about the fun, good, I'm laughing-so-hard-I'm-crying-days, but they DO exist, so don't stress over what the WORST days will be. They are far fewer than the good ones. But umm...yeah, they do exist. Hey, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the good days w/out the curse-filled ones!
